Neuralink is an Elon Musk's company which tries to connect our brains with computers. Its project is the neuralink project. 
A person will be able to do the surgery and go home within a day using this machine.
This monkey can play the game using his mind. But neuralink isn't allowed to test this with humans yet by authorities. Also, neuralink asks intelligent people to join with this project.
It is the most advanced user interface ever thinkable. Now we connect to the computer through the keyboard, mouse and the screen. But with this user interface, we will be able to connect with the computer through our minds directly. The input and the output is our mind. It is so fast that we will be unable to distinguish our mind from the computer. It will be the next human evolution step. It will make us cyborgs. Don't you know about cyborgs? A cyborg is an animal which has both organic and mechanical body parts. Actually, we are cyborgs at a certain level. Because we use smartphones, calculators are like parts of our brain. So, this project is the next level of our cyborg lives.
Actually, why does Elon Musk think that we want to be cyborgs?
"Artificial Intelligence" is advancing exponentially minute by minute. One day it will surpass us in intelligence and knowledge. We can't compete with them. Because the speed of our organic nerve system is 70-120 meters per second. But the speed of an electrical signal is 50% to 90% speed of light. The speed of light is 300000 meters per second. So, computers are thousand times faster than us. Most experts believe artificial intelligence will surpass human intelligence around 2050. But, we can't stop artificial intelligence research. Because our advanced human civilization will be collapsed without A.I. So, what we can do? We can merge with them. Then A.I. can't surpass us. Also, we can get superhuman powers from this technology. We can control electric devices through our minds. We will be able to talk with others using only our minds. We will be able to download any knowledge instantly into our brains. Eventually, we will be able to upload our memory into a computer or to the cloud and live forever.
So, how does Elon Musk try to achieve this?
He does try to make a chip to connect to our brains directly.
And also he tries to develop a machine that does the surgery and inserts the chip into our brains.
What about the current status of this project?
With the current power of this chip, a person can move the mouse pointer of a computer using his mind. They demonstrated this ability using a monkey.
